Jahsik was given to Yaati by an admirer of his back in Kalos. Said admirer bred and raised Jahsik himself then gave him to Yaati as a gift. Jahsik dove headfirst into his given purpose, protecting Yaati with all his strength... until Yaati had to release him to join pocket. The loyal Zoroark made it onto Pocket Island, determined to find and return to his beloved trainer. After a long journey and making a new friend of Takasu along the way, he successfully reunited with his trainer and has returned to his purpose of keeping him safe. He remains good friends with Takasu and spends time with him often.

Jahsik is very defensive of anything he cares about, be it Yaati, one of his possessions, or whatever space he's deemed his den. He's short tempered, bowing down only to Yaati and his brother Ryuuto. He has a secret love for pears and can be bribed to do a lot of things for the soft, sweet fruit. When he has downtime, he likes to go for walks or lounge in the sunlight. He also has a great love for music and enjoys dancing.

As he wasn't raised around females, he's very shy around female pokemon. He has no idea how to interact with them. Takasu is always meddling and trying to set Jahsik up with a lady friend or otherwise make him interact with females. However this only effects him if he's speaking with female POKEMON. He doesn't seem to have a problem addressing female humans.
